The Burlington Bar- go right next door for a few drinks
3224 W. Fullerton Ave.
The Whirlaway lounge has been providing Logan Square with a comfortable and social drinking establishment for over 29 years. Purchased by the Jaimes family in 1980, the Whirlaway has been family owned and run ever since. Rumor has it that the original owner placed a bet on a horse that was not favored to win. This horse would later become a triple crown winner. With his earnings the bar was built and named after the horse; Whirlaway.
